When I started getting responses for the newsletter I peaked and told the Lord, “I can't believe this is happening…you need to help me with this. What am I supposed to say?” Almost instantly, I received the vision that will be the basis of this newsletter. He has assured me that He will give me a new vision for each newsletter and the purpose of the newsletter is to bring His people to a deeper relationship with Him as He breaks the bonds of old mindsets and thinking that hold us back. God is so good in so many ways. I hope over the next while, and after reading my book, you begin to see God as a person, not just as an “out there” unreachable God, but as one you want as a friend.
The vision He showed me this week was this: I saw the Lord. He was so small that he stood between my thumb and forefinger and was only a few millimeters high. He was so very tiny. Then before my eyes, he started to grow. He mushroomed in size exponentially; so fast and so large He filled the heavens and beyond. I stared at the space He had filled just a few moments before and He was so large that one speck of his clothes was too large to fit the scope of my vision.
I said to Him, “That was odd. Why did you do that?”
Suddenly, I found myself in the Third Heavens, beyond the place we call heaven, beyond the palaces and Throne Room, the Lord was there in all His glory. He smiled at me and said, “The reason people have no miracles or just small miracles is because they have made me a small god. I am the Creator of everything ever known. I am the reason that life exists and without Me there would be nothing. Absolutely everything is possible with Me.”
My heart just broke because I too, even after all that I have seen and heard, have made God a small god in my life. I can believe for everyone else, but I just can't seem to get over that hump of disbelief in my own life. I just can't make that stretch between “I know that God loves the whole world…and…I know that God loves me with everything He has and is.” His miracles are always for someone else, His words are always for someone else, His life is always for someone else.
I have been in God's head (in vision) when He thought of each one of us, and those who are yet to come. I have seen His face (it is my favorite of the 3 I have seen) where everything that ever was, is and will be created can be seen in that face. We had spiritual life, even in His head, though we were yet just a thought. When He thought of us, it gave us life. I could walk around and talk with everyone (as I did just to meet them) and the difference between who they were then and who we are now was completely different. There, they were whole and complete, not jaded by sin. Sin and the fears of others have caused us to diminish our God to be what we expect of Him and we do not allow God to be who He really is.
It is time for us to let God be God.
Lord God Almighty, forgive me for not knowing who you are, not believing who you are. Forgive me for not allowing you to be who you are in my life. Forgive me for not accepting you for who you are. Lord God Almighty, Creator of all that is, open my eyes, my ears, my nose, my touch, my mouth and my heart to know you and accept you. Lord God Almighty, pour into my spirit and my heart your greatness, your glory, your life…fill me to overflowing. Lord God Almighty, Holy Spirit, and Jesus, precious Son of God, pour into me a new revelation of you that will so fill me with awe and love that my spirit explodes spilling your life on every one around. Lord, woo me and let me step into a new relationship with you that is filled with joy and life. I praise you with all my heart, spirit and life. Thank you for being who you are, in Jesus' name, amen.
